Easter Update

Our production of The Opposite sex concluded on 22nd March.  Each performance went really well, playing to a packed studio and a warm reception from our audiences.  On the final night, we had a special guest as the playwright, David Tristram, came to see this performance of his work, congratulating cast and crew on a very enjoyable production.  Director Moira mason said, “A big thank you to everyone who made the show a success and so much fun.”

After the production, we have held a couple of social events – including skittles with traditional pub basket meals at the Alma Tavern on the Droitwich Road – which our members really enjoyed.  It was good to relax and reflect on a successful show.

St John’s Players are now taking a brief break over Easter, before we resume regular club nights and start on our Autumn Production.  This will be staged from 14th to 18th October 2014 at the Swan Theatre Main Stage, so keep those dates free in your diary.  The eagle-eyed may have spotted a teaser for this on the way into the Swan Studio for The Opposite Sex!
