Casting Call

We are looking for an amateur actress aged between early 20’s to mid to late 30’s required for St John’s Players’ latest production which is currently in rehearsal – Alan Ayckbourn’s “Season’s Greetings”.  The role is that of Pattie.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the member of the group who was cast in this role has had to withdraw from the production and we have no other members who are available to perform this role.

“Season’s Greetings” is a comedy, often farcical, about 4 days in the life of a dysfunctional family over Christmas. Belinda and Neville have invited their family for a traditional Christmas celebration.  The guests include: Neville’s exhausted sister Phyllis; her husband Bernard, a doctor whose annual puppet shows are the stuff of legend and terror to both young and old alike; Neville’s friend Eddie and his pregnant wife Pattie; uncle Harvey, a slightly senile retired security guard and a television-addict; Belinda’s unmarried sister, Rachel; and Clive, a writer and friend of Rachel.

“Season’s Greetings” is being performed at Worcester Swan Theatre, 7th-11th November 2017

Rehearsals are on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to approx. 9.30pm – 10pm
